I bought this rifle in 1980 after saving all summer from mowing lawns and delivering papers. I has less than 500 rounds through it and is like new with the exception of a few minor dings in the buttstock. I'd say it is 98%. Bluing is flawless. Buttstock is nicely figured in kind of a tiger stripe kind of way. Anyway, it is time to part with this rifle as I downscale my possessions. I have a friend who owns a gunshop and he has offered to put in on sale at consignment. I am wondering what a reasonable price for this rifle might be. Any input is appreciated. I also have a nice Win 75 Sporter for sale as well. It has some bluing wear and some stock imperfections but no pitting or major defects. Buttstock is highly figured walnut, beautiful. Value on this with Leupold VariXII4x-12x AO scope ?????

If its as nice as you said[a box would help as well] I'd say that $725 wouldn't be out of line - IMO for the Savage-Anschutz.
